Bios
LOUISA BURNS-BISOGNO is an award-winning screenwriter, director, author, international media consultant and university professor. Her work has been produced on cable TV and on all the major U.S. networks, as well as distributed internationally.
Louisa was trained as a Head Writer at CBS and won a Writers Guild of America award for ‘Outstanding Daytime Series Writing’ and was one of the top four finalists in the WGAE comedy 2021scriptwriting competition. Currently, she is Executive Producer– Head Writer of a new Italian TV series, Sisters By Choice. Louisa has trained professional writers in dramatic series techniques in Moscow, Dublin and in Rome. Her former student Chen Lan’s dramatic series Princess Agents has the highest rating in Chinese TV history with 230,000,000 viewers worldwide. She has an M.Litt degree in Drama from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, a MA in Political Science from Hunter College, NYC. She has taught and designed media courses for Western Connecticut State University and Kean University.

TOM BISOGNO grew up in Brooklyn, NY and loved listening to the celebrity singers of the old standards genre. He spent several summer vacations near Siena, Italy with his family, which inspired Siena My Love. His first novel was a self-published story Leave Six Inches…, He co-authored with his wife Louisa Burns-Bisogno a stage play Love Signs for a deaf theater group and a prime-time television movie for CBS Bridge to Silence, which starred Marlee Matlin. His screenplay Sleuthhound was presented at the HBO theater after it was selected by the National Academy of Television and Science. His article "The Sludging of America" written for E The Environmental Magazine alerted the nation to the dangers of using toxic sludge as fertilizer. Currently, Tom is writing a screenplay based on his book Siena My Love.
Tom has a BA in English and an MBA in Marketing and had a varied career in accounting and marketing management with a major corporation, as a partner in a real estate company and as a communication and life skills instructor at WCSU and at Iona, Marist, and Dominican colleges.
